Which Bin? Demo
Bin contamination continues to force the wrong things into landfill across Australia, creating unnecessary costs for councils and negative environmental impacts for our communities.
If we as residents can learn to better sort our own waste, the impact could be immeasurable across the country.
With this goal in mind, I've developed an interactive waste sorting game that makes learning proper bin usage both engaging and effective. Research shows that interactive learning leads to better retention and behaviour change compared to traditional educational materials - people learn better by doing rather than just reading.
Key features:
- Custom-built sorting rules that match your specific bin system
- Reinforces items the player finds challenging to sort correctly
- Works seamlessly on all devices - computers, smartphones, and tablets
- Simple one-line installation on your council website
- Intuitive drag-and-drop mechanics that makes it easy for everyone to play
- Engaging design with vibrant visuals and audio to encourage repeated play
By implementing this educational tool, your council can:
- Reduce contamination rates and associated costs
- Demonstrate environmental leadership to residents and state government
- Provide 24/7 accessible waste education through a modern digital platform
